BPMS Tune and coding

Hey guys just wanted to do a quick review of my experience with Mike Benvo getting some tuning and coding done. First off Mike is some kind of mystical wizard on a computer he knows basically everything there is. Second his tune is amazing I had the Dinan software perviously and there really wasn't anything there. Mike flashed the tune in about 5 minutes and we were off on a test drive and damn this thing can pull now the lows and basically everything in the middle to the upper ends has life. As far as the coding goes Mike put on 240E and Euro MDM and DCT. All and all its almost as if it is a different car

Good Job Mike awesome work

Seriously though get a BPMS tune

Awesome! I recently had a similar experience with Mike - in my case I switched from AA's tune to BPMSport's tune

It truly is a great tune. I went from Dinan to BPMS tune also and I feel it was money well spent.

Unfortunately for Mike, he has had to help me beyond tune issues as well and was as patient as ever. Answer every question from oil level and computer issues to landlord and dealer issues.

He is a professional and more importantly a true enthusiast and expert on the car/brand that stands behind his product and customers.

Thanks Mike for all you do.

I have been in talks with Mike Benvo the last week. He shot me a PM with a nice, spedific breakdown of his tune, and is willing to put an end user cable aside for me when I am ready to pay for the tune after the holidays. He truly sounds like a world class tuner and is very knowledgeable. I cannot wait to put on my Turner Test pipes and get my car tuned. The streets arent ready for my m3

What do you mean by DCT? By 240E do you mean that his tune is based on 240E from the factory? Thanks in advance.

I was curious as to this as well. Could be DCT update and/or change the launch control RPM. Typically people put it lower to 3500.

It's a DCT update but if you have 6MT Mike can play around with launch control as well

Sent Mike a PM on Friday... Awaiting his response as he should be pretty busy tuning these days with the flood of 240e "gorilla raping" threads

Are most of you "gorilla raped" peeps on stage I or stage II??

Im currently running an Eisenmann sport and I will soon be adding either a MS stage II intake or just a K&N / AA drop-in... Wondering how a stage I tune will feel..

Stage 1 and 2 are pretty similar I'm currently running stage 2 and it's awesome even though I have my cats still (reason for stage 2 car delete very soon).

But stage one is for cars still with primary cats and stage 2 is a cat delete tune

Yes my cats are still in place

I am only running an axle-back and only plan on an addition of a MS stage II intake or K&N/AA drop-in

Go with the drop in. The intake on this car is already very good. I'm off to the dyno to tune an M3 for Castros Motorsports. I should be putting more cables together instead, but doing him favor. I'll check in later
