of course man...I'm not paying $1000 + a month to let it sit in the garage for half the year!

I repaint my front bumper every spring...but to be honest it gets sand blasted in the summer just as much, if not more! But anyway, I repaint it once a year and the car looks brand new!

I don't think so as those look like the OEM 18" rims.

My winter wheels and tires are scheduled to arrive on Thursday (Jan 8). They will very quickly go on and I'll take some pics of my E90 in the snow and post up also.

you know, if you can afford an M3 with 5k worth of wheels, then you could probably spend 2500.00 on an older honda accord or something for winter driving. Such a shame to treat that nice car like that IMO

the M car is not a supercar... i drive it all throughout winter. now if the M was a $250 000 lambo or F430 then that would be a totally different story... its a $70k car... you see a lot of 545s, 550s, 7 series, S-class, etc (that cost either the same or more) out on the road during winter.

Good point!
Not to mention, the car is German. It was built with the knowledge that it would likely be driven in snowy conditions!

My M is so good in the snow (with snow tires), that I prefer driving it over my moms Acura TL (with snow tires).

It would be a shame to turn an M3 into a garage queen for several months every year. These cars are built for all weather, so long as there's enought clearance. Clean the underside at every opportunity and they'll easily last a couple of hundred thousand miles.

I worship my M3 by flogging it every chance I get. I warm it up like a race horse, but when it's ready it gets its head, summer and winter.

Dave
