So I had some time this morning and decided to get yall some pics. I just did the truck lid. One bc I daily drive so cant have the car down for days so I am going to go panel by panel till i am done. Yes a pain but really the only way I will ever get it all done so enjoy the pics. again not a professional detailer or photographer but hope this helps show some real results.

I only do a few panels at a time too. Makes it much more manageable. Maybe I'm slow, but 20 mins seems pretty quick with everything.

hate to bump an old thread, but how did you guys manage to get it to finish down without any haze? on jet black paint no less...

even the professionals on autogeek and autopia are left with haze after using a DA with fg400. since this is a compound, it is expected.

your examples seem to be ready for jeweling, or straight to LSP if it's a daily driver.

was this really a 1 step process? no pad switching or different polishes used? just several passes (depending on severity) with a foam cutting pad and you were left with these results?

it just seems a bit unrealistic considering the other comparisons and usage i've seen with this compound.

yes we were able to finish it down took a bit of time but we were able to do it on this jet black car.

with varying our pressure and slowing down the passes.

What was used in the final pictures to seal or wax the finish to maximize gloss? The car looks great.
