Adios E90 Hola E93

I have not been very active in any forum, but I have the bug again since I got a new blank canvas to work with, Things have changed since 2008 with all M3 related, I remember I could not find color coded reflectors any where when i first got my E90. anyways...My employee lease was going to be over in Oct. but I was told there was a great program for employees on the E93 so I order one, I ordered with the same specs as the frozen grey we had on the showroom floor back then except the color of course and no comp pkg.

I got it last week and was able to swap my AA exhaust.

I have a few items on order and will begin the "youification" process next week, I am very excited, at first i thought the space gray was going to be boring after driving the interlagos with yellow headlights, but the red/black interior and the A52 color has grown on me a lot.
>>

Bye

Great looking car ... have fun and Congratulations ... keep us up to date as you get used to the new ride and let us know what difference you are experiencing between your former and new ride

I am planning on a e93 for my next ride so I am interested in your comparisons between the two.

Your E90 was one of the first Interlagos Blue sedans I had seen. Its the reason I went for the same color. Will be missed!

Congrats on the E93!

how was your experience with Vista BMW? I've heard some "not so nice" stories about them, but I've never dealt with them, so I can't confirm.

Congrats on your new acquisition.

The OP works there so I would assume that his experience was extraordinary...

Congrats! I went the opposite direction and switched to an e90, but I gotta say that the e93 was more of a more fun car!

Thank you guys I am feeling already welcomed back!

I was not sure about a convertible but is growing on me, at first I notice the extra weight I have on the rear now, my E90 was build with no sunroof for weight savings, but I have not switch all of my performance parts yet, I hold off on the pulley because the part number on the AA website is different from the one I got for the 2008 model.

Filter, exhaust, spacers and H&R springs are in, however the H&R's lower the rear a bit too much so I removed the 15mm spacer from the rears, and I will install eibach Pro-Kit all around.

Orange reflectors being color coded now, gosh I hate those reflectors, they ruin every picture LOL

Yes! I work at VISTA but on the lighter side, I sell MINI, not sure if I can sell BMW's. These guys have it tough, I must to seen over 50 guys come and go since I worked there, is a tough market now with internet, is hard to keep up with a BMW client, sometimes they know more than sales guys LOL I like that, and the word "invoice" is heard a lot in any deal. I am lucky I think because I love my brand MINI and because of it I get to drive one M at the time.

I ordered my M back in march but hold off on the production until BMW apps was OK to order, not sure why because I have not been able to make it work . is not like MINI connected at all. My current M had been in the lot for 106 days and the dealer ran out of convertibles, so they decided to put mine in, on Friday i walked into work and saw my M in the showroom with a stock number on it and 2 children jumping on the back seat, obviously the 2 darlinhs were being rear by a nanny while mom shopped for a new seven, so they were out of control, is all it took filled the paperwork and took the car off the showroom, I turn my E90 with 23xxx miles and 3 months to go i was hoping to get closer to the end of the lease, 3 months left, and take the E90 to Key West but will have to take the time off and go topless.

@ IND Thank you! from the first forum lurk I did your build up's have been an inspiration for me. beautiful cars.

Thank you for the good wishes and will keep you all posted and the mods, space grey does not go well with the yellow lens covers but you never know maybe blue? LOL.... Oh I put the yellow because every time I open my garage door to go to work I saw the interlagos lines with the mean look and yellow lenses made me feel I was driving a LeMans car and it was different. Since I have seen a few M's and 335's come to the service drive and guess what a few of them had the jaundice problem

Future:
