Also look at the Sennheiser HD448 and HD438. The HD448's have great detail, but lack some bass and the HD438's are the opposite, trading in some detail for better bass.

If you desire some bass make sure you don't go below a 50mm driver tho. Okay maybe 40mm.

Do not buy DJ headphones if you just want to listen to the music. DJ headphones tend to be heavy, with exaggerated bass and flat mids and highs. I have A&H XONE's. They are GREAT for DJing, but make regular music sound like ass.
If you want headphones for listening, you will not find anything better than Sony MDR-7506 (the only Sony product I would ever buy) in your price range. They are light, comfortable and you can wear them all damn day without even feeling them. You can also buy replacement ear pads $7/pair. I also have Senn's HD580. They are nice, but very bulky and the cable that they come with, while replaceable is very thin and VERY expensive to replace. Also, not many people know, but headphones need to be "broken in". The best way to do that, is to hook them up to a receiver and play white noise through them for about 48-72 hours. They will sound much warmer after that.

BEATS BY DRE. jk i have monster turbines ear buds only because of school. But if i didnt have school id get beats studio (sorry) but they look amazing and sound quite nice. BUt for under 100 id get sony or something, not skull candy because they look horrible.

I like the Klipsch s4 better than the monster turbines. My room mate picked them up for $60 on cyber monday. They're good but I think the Klipschs are a little warmer.
