2011 E92 M3- Ordered- Additional Packages & Ext/Int Colors for 2011!!

So I went to the dealership today and put in my order for a '11 M3 Coupe but MUCH to my surprise there were different packages and colors offered. I say surprised because I looked at the 2011 ordering guide on this site and none of the additional packages, colors etc were mentioned.

Addtional Packages:
Convenience
Premium 2

Additional Ext Color:
Mineral White- sort of like a pearl white, also offered on the new 7-series.

Additional Leather Colors:
Palladium Silver Novillo- More "grey-silver than blue-grey"
Red/Black Novillo- Black Leather Seats with Red accents

Tech package was NOT offered as Comfort Access and Navigation are now part of other packages. The SA and I didn't know how to order MDrive/EDC as there was not package that included it- the SA was thinking they are standard now instead. Anyone have any idea about these new additions?

I dont get BMW. They come out with MY2011 in the first qtr of 2010 and then few months later, they change options. Why not do it all at once.

I just placed an order on Friday July 9 (2 days ago) and I was able to get Tech

... I have production number for this order and when I log in to BMWUSA.com to check the status,- it shows all the options of my order, but... not showing any of Packages, none. Is it normal?

Is the Competition package still available? If so then EDC is not standard; M Drive is.

How is possible that an Internet forum have OEM information that a SA does not?

Huh? What's posted on the Internet, including the highlight of all the changes I posted on the other thread are available to BMW dealerships. Perceived extra information here is all speculation.

By the way, SA is "Service Adviser". What you mean is CA ("Client Adviser" aka Salesperson)?

On BMWUSA.com right now (07/11/10),- there are 4 (four) packages,- Tech, Premium, Cold, Competition.

So, looks like Competition is available as of now?

BMWUSA website is showing old information and may not be what you can order.

ZCP (on e90 and e92) should still be available since the bulletin doesn't mention any change to it. ZTP is definitely gone from SOP Sept. ZP2 is new for e90/e92.

Leave it to BMW to call their salespeople Client Advisor. Is that supposed to sound better than salesperson? I always refer to them as salespeople.

It was a comment directed to the OP of having apparently a SA (Sales Advisor in my local dealer as well) that does not know the changes for MY2011.5 even when they are listed in his/her own internal network computer, and already known in the forums.

Again, the OP is talking about a SA that could not find the EDC in any package for MY2011.5. So my question to the OP was if the ZCP was available in that order form/computer screen, because EDC is there if so.

ZCP was in fact available. Also, I did mean CA, not SA. I wonder how much these changes will jump up the price. It also sucks to have to order the Competition Package to get EDC AND you have to pay for power seats now!!! The plus side is that the Mineral White Metallic is going to look sick on this car if it looks like the one on the new 7!

I don't care what they are called. Since "SA" means one thing to BMW, overloading the term becomes confusing. I was just trying to clarify he didn't talk to a "service guy".

Not really- the Mineral White Metallic was $500 though. I talked to my CA today and he said they should know pricing by the end of next week!
