Springs best for being noticeably lower?

What are some good options for springs that are high quality and make a noticeable difference in appearance? I'm just trying to get it down at least an inch. If you could show before/after pics that'd be very helpful as well.

Thanks for the helpful comment! I have searched for springs. That's why I'm asking for people's opinions, because I'm on the fence. Man some people on here are so funny! Good job.

This platform is 6 years old, this has been covered time and time again...

Swift, Eibach, H&R, RD Sport

there's your springs, the lowest drop youll have is ~1.5 in the front and less than and inch in the back. I personally have Swifts and love them

I agree with vastano though. Exactly what you are asking for already exists. You gave a request for springs that drop you at least an inch with before/after pictures. That exists in spades already with a simple search.

I hate to say it man but this topic really has been covered a hundred times in great detail, including pics.

FWIW, I run Eibach's and love em.

HR sports look great but are terrible for your car. They introduce too much rake and make the whole car unbalanced, and the ass already has enough wiggle from the rubbery subframe.

I went from them to Dinan, which is basically amounts to a slightly stiffer ZCP suspension.

I didn't experience any unbalanced behavior or a rubbery subframe, and all of my cars have been lowered on H&R springs.

Under hard braking and cornering, the high rake was even more pronounced and the car felt front-heavy and unbalanced.

The squishy rear subframe is just common to all M3s, they learned to make it more durable from all the E46 issues, but didn't really get it right until the E92 GTS (and now the new F8X). That's why solid mounts are the next mod on the list.

Sounds more like a lack of rebound on shocks than springs.

Maybe, the H&R sports don't leave much travel for the shocks. Whatever the reason, rake or lack of travel, they made the car drive noticeably worse. I have friends who ride on Eibachs and Swifts, I like both of those options better than H&R. I settled on the Dinan because I got the swaybar too on a killer deal. Ohlins R&T will go on the car once it's no longer a DD, so it doesn't matter. I can't wait to get the LCI/ZCP F80, I can really go crazy with my E92 then! Most fun track car ever!

It sounds more like rhetoric than something noticeable to be honest. I understand what you're getting at regarding the subframe, etc., but it's nothing that you'd feel during normal or even most spirited driving situations. You only 'notice' it because you know it's an issue. I never felt anything that concerned me, and I drove 3 different E9X's on H&R's over a span of 6 years (..from early 2008 until May of 2013).

Sometimes you don't know what you are missing until you experience something better.... I haven't driven a car with solid subframe bushings but I'm eager to try them out. Everyone who has them claims that there is a significant improvement in how the car responds / feels.
