Curious if anyone has done a dyno test (before/after) with just the Gintani rear section (no xpipe or cat removal)? I'm looking at purchasing this but am curious how it stacks up against other exhausts out there. I believe Active says their signature will put down 12-15whp...is Gintani's rear section putting down similar numbers?
I got 16whp.

He will tell you your car is broken and it should have made way more than 308 hp stock.

Check KT's thread out: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=316265

That's not why I brought up Lemans though. I brought him up because of how knowledgeable he is on a wide range of topics, especially the dyno stuff.

I was very interested on what he had to say about all my results.

I'm getting my UUC ssk installed tomorrow or the next day.

I didn't go for the dssr, so it's just the ssk by itself for me.

Yep, Jon's correct.

Calling them directly is the best way. Their phone # is: 818-787-8260

All the best!

Congrats on your Dyno# Nawaaz good stuff you are the man. I do have one question is your exhaust louder than QTRM3 Catless Remus Race exhaust

Thank you Kevin!

***For those of you who are unaware, Kevin was the gentleman who performed all the installs for my bolt-on's, such as: the full exhaust, pulley, rpi scoops. I will be getting my ssk installed by him tomorrow, hopefully.

If you're in the DFW area, I HIGHLY recommend Kevin to do all of your installs. I couldn't trust anyone more than how much I trust him. Simply an AMAZING guy, who puts so much care into the work of a client's vehicle!

PM me if anyone ever needs his help on any installs.
Thanks for the # Nawaaz I think I will get Kevin to hook up my AA catless exhaust pipes

I was on the same boat as you. I was about to pull the trigger on RPI exhaust and Change out my Remus Race exhaust, but I got side tracked by the mod virus and got Hamann side skirts to go with my Hamann body kit . Now that I am back on track and after seeing Nawaaz true Gintani exhaust hp gains for a proven fact. I must add real exhaust hp gains..... Looks like I am pulling the trigger on Gintani axle back exhaust mufflers for my M3

Nawaaz,

Awesome work. I don't know how you handled the suspense of having these parts for such a long time before the install!

But you did, and you did what you said you'd do in terms of performing all of the step by step pre and during mod measurements.

This is a great benefit to the forum and I'm sure there's a great deal of satisfaction knowing that not only does the "butt dyno" feel the results but they are there and fully measurable (and really good gains).

Two questions:
  • Is it loud enough for you?
  • Was I right in my Gintani Rear-Section review when I said: "Nawaaz is going probably going to pop due to "happiness overload" when he installs the full Gintani exhaust system. "

I watched the videos again. I'm speechless at Nawaaz's car chirping in 3 consecutive gears. That car is a ROCKET SHIP!

And it sounds sick...too loud for everyday driving in So Cal (unless you happen to be a CHP Officer)but damn I'm impressed. I've sent that video to so many people and they keep saying

"WOW-WTF does he have under the hood?"

Yeah, it being too loud in SoCal is the reason why I'm letting it go

Full, unbiased review on my full catless Gintani exhaust coming up sometime next week.... ....I'm waiting to get several vids in.

And on the 'happiness-overload' thingy, you were absolutely correct.

With that kind of exhaust isn't highway driving giving you a headache by now? Also, you are brave to go full catless, I'd never try that here in NJ lol.
