Encore In. X-pipe install questions

Finally! My Encore Innovation X-pipe with (HFC) is in. Pictures to follow soon.

But I have a few questions on installations so hopefully you fella's that have the EI installed can give me some pointers.

The pipe was sent back to Renn Spec back in Sept. to have the front flange that connects to the Stock headers modified, I have no idea what they did as I never saw or hooked it up in the beginning, just sent it back after reading some posts on install problems and Gary said it was taken care of so good to go there I'm thinking.

But looking at it last night, the front flange where it'll connect to the headers looks like a slip-on type supplied with C-clamps. Pictures of the Fabspeed X-pipe shows it has a twin-bold pad that would bolt on to the headers.

So before I go installing, I'm wondering how this will connect with the
C-clap? If the stock headers have a twin-bolt pattern then I don't see how the C-clamp would go around it?

Also are there any issues or specific instructions on disconnecting the O2 sensor cables from their plugs? I'd rather do that than have them hanging and get damaged some how.

And is there any fitment issues with heat sheilds, underbody areas I need to know about? Thanks!

Pictures and video comming soon when installations is complete.

I've heard the clamps that connect to the headers have the tendency to leak. I've always favored the straight bolt-on design like Gintani/Fabspeed or Riss Racing.

There were only a few units that leaked due to mistakes during the manufacturing process. I've had mine installed for 5k miles now and it has zero leaks .

Great fella's, but back to my original question. How does the front end to the headers mate up? To me looks like a sleave that will fit into the header but then how does the C-clamp clamp on? Doesn't the header have a bold pattern flange?
