I do recommend placing 3M blue painters tape around emblems as sometimes they are a little more difficult to remove than you might expect. I recently debadged a Pontiac G8 GT and this is the method that I suggest.....see pics below................

Debadging my 135, I found the need to use some dawn/water to remove excess glue, so I'd plan to wax or seal the area asap.

Debadging the G8
good advice on the debadging...I wonder two things, 1) why are all the G8's I see red and 2) was the owner thinking of putting another badge on this car?
