I'm new to the M3 scene and I've been reading a lot about purchasing a used M and here are my choices i'm down to.
let me know what you think. Both cars are about the same price $38k 2010 BMW M3 Premium Package Coupe! DCT. 59,500 mi. Car comes with a 100k mi pre owned BMW certified warranty and gold maintenance plan good through 2016 ($7500 orig purchase value) transfers with vehicle - maintenance plan includes oil changes, brakes, etc. Sporty luxury coupe is loaded with features such as Carbon fiber roof, Bluetooth integration, AUX audio input, navigation system, front power heated seats with lumbar and memory, keyless ignition, Xenon headlights, black exterior, black leather interior. and much more! OR 2008 BMW M3 Dealer maintained car. 41,000 miles. Under warranty until August 2014. Fully loaded with all available options for an M3. Carbon fiber roof. Sirius XM radio for life transferrable with car. Manual/automatic transmission. |

If the 2010 is in nice shape I would lean toward it. Miles are high but warranty & maintenance keeps it appealing. Also I like black/black but I am biased.
09+ gives you the newer idrive which is fantastic and theoretically they got other bugs worked out in later years (although I haven't heard of many issues with the 08s). Usually I'd say miles over year but it's worth trying to get a 09 or 10 if you can swing it. 09/10 seems to be the sweet spot for newness without being too expensive. |
