I bid farewell to you all...

Guys:

It is with a heavy heart I write this as my M3 was picked up today by it's new buyer.

I paid it a proper farewell by driving it like it was stolen today on the way back.

I can not emphasize how thankful I am for all of you guys being there to give me the info I needed and the direction I needed with the car.

I hope to get into another M3 when the new one arrives.

Till than take care guys...

Come back and give us your thoughts on the next ride, and on the new M if that's what you end up with after that.

Sounds like you might just end up back in an E9x M3 in the long run, though...

Nice call on the C4S; they are amazing cars.

why did you sell your car? Was it because of your recent accident involving it?

I drove the 2009 911 4S before and also sat in with a professional driver on a closed course. I much prefer the M3, it is a more practical car and just as capable despite the weight. I am sure you will still regret having sold your M3 in 10 years time. The new M3 has a lot more potential for pbs given the TT + intercooler. Also they removed so much metal i bet it is going to have creaking noises in the cabin.

I too bid farewell...just sold my 09' M3...had the C4S previous to the M3(my 4th M3).

To be honest, the C4S felt more sporty and handled better but didnt have a trunk.

I must be getting old cause no car gets me excited....

Unfortunately for me, moving onto more expensive toys.

Man... I sincerely hope that day never comes for me. I want to be the 80 year old driving around in a Caterham.

More expensive toys = yacht?

Lap times dont support this and the 4S is still a good bit quicker. Its not as practical but the 4S is an amazing car that is still a step up in performance.

Good luck on the 4S, i dont think youll be missing the M3 after you turn that car on.
