We have very similar weather to AZ. Van Nuys (the valley suburbs of greater Los Angeles) has 100+ degrees weather all summer long and is incredibly dry just like AZ. We have not had a chance to test this car in humid weather. Humidity will affect the performance of any kit and even a stock car without forced induction.

Yes, we are offering a special price of $350 installation for our Stage 0 kit!

Will your carbon SC intake/filter deal fit the stage 0 and if so how much to add that to the kit?

We haven't really broken it down, but it will be a minimum of $1250, maximum of $1500 to add the carbon fiber top intake piece. We originally did not include it into the kit so we can stay competitive with our pricing.

I noticed you have a $500 and $1000 meth injection kit available. Could i add this to the Stage 0 kit?

Don't mean to make your life more difficult, but here's a picture of 10 sets of our in-house machined runners which are ready to go for our SC kits:

Yes, you can add them. Installation on a meth kit will be a minimum of $500 extra though.

Any testing on the track? Would the kit suffer heat soak and loss of performance after several laps?

No testing on the track for our Stage 0, we recommend the Stage 1 or 2 if you plan to track as it has the heat exchanger and air-to-liquid cooler.

Any kit without any kind of cooling will experience heat soak on the track. If you are to track this kit, in our opinion, you should run a meth kit just to help the intake temps down.

Looks like it. I think "Stage 0" was quickly abandoned after some comments. Stage 1 seems more appropriate.

Yes, we changed it to Stage 1 after our company meeting. We now offer only the Stage 2 at 7.5 psi boost, but if a customer is interested in the 6.5 psi - we will still offer it. Most people normally would go with the 7.5 psi so we figured we would simplify things.

Great pricing. It looks like the bov vents to atmosphere right over the belts. Wouldn't that be an issue for the oil associated with the intake air charge due to crankcase ventilation?

Can you clarify why someone would buy this? Not sure I get target market. The air filter is in the engine area at extremely hot air being sucked in with really no movement of fresh air like OEM which is fine if you have an intercooler but this thing would really struggle in heat or driving it hard no? Is of that much less work installing without intercooler? I'm genuinely asking as I may be missing something as otherwise it looks great and great price?

If there was that much engine oil blowing out of the blow off valve, you would have a lot bigger problems than the belt getting oil on it. We have been running the blow off valve in this location for 6 years now with no issues.

For those who are interested, we can also provide a recirculating by-pass valve instead.

1 year warranty on the Vortech Supercharger; 2 year warranty on all of our parts in the kit; no engine warranty.

There is a heat shield that goes between the air filter and headers. Additionally, there is a pipe which directs the air from the front mouth to the filter. Our kit is to offer customers great gains at a great price, but if you are looking for a kit meant for tracking and/or very big power, this kit is not for you.

Can you speak to how it performs pushed hardin summer wweather in terms of heat soak? And is there that much more work and cost involved adding IC? Still didn't answer why someone gets thus over IC setup? Cost alone?
