December 2007 BMW Magazine...
I was told that in this month's BMW magazine the M3 was featured. In the article they discussed how engineers sat in "sound rooms" tweaking on the m3's exhaust to create the car's beautiful snarl...
BMW owner's circle does not have it up online and I don't receive the mag... Can someone scan or post a link to the article? Hearing the story about this article got me to thinking, Can the aftermarket companies create (removal of catalysts aside)a better performing system w/o compromising sound? So, while we're at it, poll question; Who plans to hack the stock exhaust?

Interesting but there is no doubt that compromises were made for those that dont appreciate loud exhuasts...
