AngeliBright (AiB) installation

AngeliBrights (known as AiBs) were next on the list.

AiBs give the halos a more modernized look, even uniform ring coverage and still be seen in complete daytime:

Phase 1 Completion Shots

To finish everything off were a set of the Advan RS-D in 20" size - almost required for the dinner plate-sized rotors that were newly installed on this build.

Front: ADVAN RS-D 20x9.0" w/ 245/30-20 Pirelli PZero
Rear: ADVAN RS-D 20x10.0" w/ 285/25-20 Pirelli PZero

Tires are bring swapped up front for some rubbing issues (35SER currently).

Some rolling shots:

Phase 1 is complete. The ATI M3 is out to get the Ericsson Front/Rear bumper and Ericsson trunk fitted/painted and will return for final inspection/photos.

Slotted rotors allow gas to ventilate during brake fade. Slotted has more material than drilled, means better heat dissipation. They have more disc surface, maintain around 96% of the friction surface. During wet driving, the slots have a better wiping away of water versus drilled. Slots also wipe the pads to keep the pad surface clean. Also, drilled can play 'connect the dots', causing cracks. If you are going to actually track the car pretty hard, get a slotted big brake kit. A lot of the BBK's out there are for piston-counters.
