I've had both, I prefer the Borla. They're both great in the sound dept. but the Borla screams a little more without adding any drone. Neither exhaust are lookers but the Borla didn't have the awful low hangers like the Corsa. Paint the Corsa cans black and it's a non-issue (see pic). I had some QC issues with the Corsa too, it was missing a freakin hanger on one side. Long story short, Corsa took care of me but it was a drawn out process.

Is the ATAK a cat-back like the Corsa?
I have a Corsa TSE3 on my Dinan E46 330izsp and it is superb.
But I am holding out on the e92M for a choice exhaust.

I have the Borla Atak on a MY08 E92 which combined with aftermarket test pipes and catted x pipe make some beautiful music when on heavy throttle but very compliant and quiet around town.

Anyone have the borla ATAK axle back only? I was wondering if there would be any drone when cruising though the freeway. I have read conflicting reports.

Not sure if this offer is still good. I live in indy and debating over the corsa and borla. I prefer the borla because of the sound but apparently I am highly sensitive to drone because I had the megan exhaust previously and I loved it but it hurt my ears and I didn't think it had much drone. I would love to hear this in person.

I bought a 2012 e92 that was bone stock with the exception of the Borla ATAK. It's a nice "bassy" exhaust like the Akra Evo I had on another e92, but the drone on the Borla was headache-inducing. Maybe I'm sensitive to drone but I hated it. Traded the Borla for someone's stock exhaust and couldnt be happier.

I had the same reaction. Although my Atak didn't generate what I define as drone i.e. resonans at a certain rpm, and the tone sounded really nice, it somehow included a component that worked my ears the wrong way and gave me headache. Clearly not the same for everybody as it still is a very popular exhaust.

Yep, old thread. After much reading from owners, I went with Corsa. Really happy with the choice. ATAK may have more rumble, but Corsa sounds exotic. To each his own.

I also decided to go with the corsa. Where did you order yours from. I bought mine from wca performance. Never heard of them before. They seem legit but havent heard back about shipping yet. Seems kinda weird but they had a good price.

They are here on this forum. Decided for the Corsa also due to my E46 having the TSE3 on its Dinan tuned M54B30..... outstanding sound and airflow on that car.
