Akra evo xpipe with oem perforated mod - sounds....?

Curious if anyone has or has heard and Akra evo xpipe mated to a oem mod muffler? Oem mod is the perforated pipes in the center of the can.

Thanks!

Just as a heads up, you need a special adapter to mate the Akra evo xpipe with any rear section other than Akra rear section. Don't want you to be surprised when you try and install it.

An exhaust shop can make an adapter for you too.

From my personal experience with a similar, albeit catless setup (Akra GT4, RKP adapters, ACM-like modification) the drone is pretty rough. Most disappointing is the RKP adapter kit The materials and construction of the adapters matches perfectly with the Akra pieces, however the outer dimension of the flare is too small to enable a solid and firm clamp via the OE exhaust clamps, even with exhaust system sealant there was quite a bit of play in the clamp while fully tightened.

I appreciate all of what RKP has brought to the market, however when considering the price of the adapters coupled with the less than desirable clamp fitment I would be encouraging of people to skip any combination of Akra mid-pipe with an OE-style clamping rear muffler box.

Unfortunately, the guys at the shop did not know how to install the ball adapters on the xpipe so I just had them install the whole Akra EVO set up header back. After they were done I found pictures that show the ball adapters need to be pushed almost all the way to the resonators. They didn't couldn't push it back that far.
