+1 here for USAA. Absolutely love them for more than a few reasons.

I've had 4 cracked windshields since I first started driving and have never had to pay a cent or see my rates increase.

That is only because you live in FL. It is required by law that auto insurers replace broken windshields and are required to not charge the normal deductible. Not all states have this, but I'm sure you could add an additional rider at a minimal monthly cost.

I got OEM glass at the dealer and had them replace it (not outsourced.) They charged about $750, insurance (Allstate) picked up most of it.

I too have Geico and have 1 free windshield replacement every year. I saw the invoice for my e46 M3 I had replaced and it was $420 (OEM, sensor, molding & etc). Don't know if it's due to the different regions but a lot of these prices seem absurd.

That seems extremely high...I replaced my 335 windshield for $420 total. My father replaced his X5 windshield for $300.

Get a low deductable on your comprehensive insurance since it will pay for winsheilds. I have a 100 deductible and needed three winsheilds when I had my Audi s4

I paid $275 for a shop to replace my E46 M3 windshield. That includes parts and labor. My car has rain sensor as well.

I've had my fair share of windshield replacements in my life and I've had Geico's full glass coverage. Never did the bill ever cross 600 for any car I've had. You definitely need to shop around and switch to the full glass comprehensive from Geico.

That's very true, I should've included that. I remember talking to my friend and he had it as a rider in his state for next to nothing.
