535i vs g37s coupe

Had a run with manual g37s coupe. Started from a first gear roll to about 115. He pulled away about car length. Are these g37s really that fast or something wrong with my car? I'm all stock.

I found a base weight of 3900 for 535i and 3650 for the G37.

I have a 2013 535I with jb4 exhaust and intake, raced my friends G37S coupe manual (stock) from a dig to 120 and took him by car and half. Before the tune it was a different story though, he took me by half car.

they are fast, had one for a rental vehicle once and it was fun to drive in sports mode, stock exhaust sounds great on them as well.

I do have AP Cobb laying in my glow box. It is a lot faster with a chip. I just wanted to see how my stock car would do. Not long ago I had a run with brand new stage 2 sti. We were even all the way to about 120, than we both let off. I was running stage 1 aggressive map. I think I did pretty good.

Looks like your car is a bit heavier than you expect.

Reminds me of the M5 vs 911S threads. Except that in that one the M5 is faster.
