MotoGP @ COTA, Convertible Needed
Hello.
Sunday, the 12th of April, is the awesome MotoGP race weekend, culminating in the big bikes running the track in the late morning. But before that happens, a dozen lucky BMW convertibles have the pleasure of spiriting a rider or two during the 10:30 am Parade Lap. At thrilling speeds of up to 12 MPH, and G-forces that'll roll liquid mercury, BMW drivers get to traverse the Circuit of the Americas track and the estimated 30,000 - 40,000 fans. I know, because I did this last year. And survived.  As of this morning, we were short one vehicle due to a last-minute DNF vehicle.
