Engine rebuild

Guys,

Unfortunately my engine failed due to road bearings failure , and I'm looking for a top quality shop to rebuild it and ideally stroke at the same time.

I'm based in Hong Kong China and haven't been able to find anyone here that have the level of expertise or experience to do this for me.

Please feel free to share here any reliable shop on this tread or PM.

Looking forward to get the ball going million thanks in advance

oh man, how many miles on your car? what year is it? supercharged? why do you think it happened?... you think i asked enough questions?

Fellow local M owner here... Sorry to hear...

I personally dont trust any shops here in HK for a job like this... Your safest bet to get the bearings replaced the right way (And with 24 months warranty) would be the dealer... It will cost a fortune.. but the warranty and peace of mind might just be worth it..

I have a very trustworthy SA contact at BMW TKW.. Let me know if I could help...

For BIU my engine is DEAD changing bearings is not doable as most like
Y the crankshaft may need some work and we still need to open the rest of the engine to see what else has to be replaced....

I don't trust BMWhere they got no idea what they doing not to mention they charge 10 times what any other shop would ...
