Battery going?

I'm getting the Increased Battery Discharge warning light whenever the weather dips into the low single digit. The warning goes away once the weather warms up.

Does this mean I need to replace my battery?

Probably on it's way out. How long has it been since the last replacement?

It's a 2011. It was probably never changed since then. Perhaps it is time for a new battery.

What's the average cost of a replacement nowadays in GTA?

I don't have a CTEK but instead, the NOCO Genius G3500 which I believe is similar. I used it last winter but seems like a temporary solution.

Hello. I have a 2008 328xi. Few months ago my radio stopped working but would randomly come on for 20 seconds then stop. All the radios lights stopped working too. Now I got the yellow triangle warning light with 4x4 in middle and the keys wouldn't come out and car wouldn't do anything. I just went outside and got it to almost turn over but it didn't. Does anyone think it's just that I need a new battery or something else!

Replace my battery

I'm also getting the Increased Battery Discharge warning light whenever the weather dips with the U-0001 error code then I have to used the OBD2 code reader to remove the code. Did you replace the battery; any information will help to resolve the problem. I call BMW and they quote me $475.00 for a new battery. Don’t want to purchase a new battery if I don’t have to, the mechanic said is the same battery the car came with…..I don’t be leave BMW

Possibly, but the radio simply not working is not typically a symptom. Usually things like comfort access start to act up.
