Technic, I think you are being a little tough on the tips deal...it makes them adjustable to how the customer wants them and he can interchange them if he wants. They can easily be welded on if someone so chooses. This is an excellent system and all geared towards the customer...how could one complain? I don't think this is anywhere near a PepBoys deal...now if you got the chrome fire for the sides with some stick on Buick vents THEN I would say yes...IND deals only with top shelf items...

Once you start talking about thousands on top of thousands of dollars in mods any detail counts, at least for me...

Technic, the tips are bolt on to allow for adjustability between the E90 and E92 M3 cars. Many exhaust system manufacturers have adjustable tips in order to be compatible with both cars. Few choose the route of making two completely different part numbers and exhaust systems like Eisenmann does, to accommodate the difference between the tip length between the E90 and E92 M3.

Of course every has different opinions and things like this are a matter of taste, but I did want to clarify the reason for the tip's adjustability.
