I offered what I can afford and feel is a fair amount for the wheels.

That amount is something between the seller and myself or as kmarei said, I would have made the offer public by posting it in the thread.

what you can afford - relative term and has nothing to do w/the fair price of the wheels...so, basically I am confused by your comment as what you can afford cant really determine the fair price of these wheels

I was just curious what offer called for such a comment from the OP

I bought a full set of tires and wheels like this from a e46 M3 for $1200. had 50 miles on them. watched the guy take off his car.
