New 2009 M3 Sedan price - Too good to be true?

Hello to all - I have been doing research on this car for a while and I am now shopping.
(BTW I want to thank all of you for the information and opinions that I found on this forum. It has been very helpful.)

I found a car at a local dealer that sounds really good to me. I would like to know what people think about this deal.

2009 M3 Sedan
Silverstone Metallic
Black Novillo Leather
Cold Weather Package
Premium Package
Technology Package
Double-clutch Transmission
19" wheels
iPod and USB adapter
Smartphone Integration
Enhanced Premium Sound

Has around 70 miles on it - has seen some demo miles.
This is a cash deal - No financing.

MSRP 70325 as per dealer (69975 as per my calculations -the $350 difference seems to be from dealer using 2010
numbers for base price (unless 2009 MSRP was changed from the list I saw $54500).

Invoice $64595

He offered 66750 over the phone and then 63500 in person. I offered 61000 and he has countered with 61900.

What do you guys think?

Thank you in advance.

Its possible. I say take it and enjoy the M3.

Theres not many 09s left and it will be a long time before the 2010s are discounted that much.

You should be at least $7000 off MSRP with a '09 plus $1500 holiday cash, $61900 is a good deal if that is without any additional fees except tag registration.

I have this car. Same colors, same options. Bought mine in April.
I think its a good deal. Like he said, not many 09's left and 10's are tough to deal this aggressively on.

Will you be trading in a vehicle? That's a great price for you but I guess the dealer might lowball you on the trade-in to balance out the price.

If there's no trade in and you're happy with the options in the car, sprint to the dealer before somebody else does!

Thanks for all the input. No holiday cash as it is a cash purchase.

Pulled the trigger and bought the car for $61500 +tax/registration. no trade in. My wife doesn't think we got a great deal but "just a good deal." But, I am happy because I got to drive it home!

SpencerM3 - I sent you a PM for the dealer info.

That's a great deal. Keep in mind it's a year old and used, so I always tell myself to take the first year of depreciation into account. If you were to sell a 2009 at the same time as a 2010, it will be valued 8-12% lower.

It's a fair deal considering the car is almost 1 year old. I wouldn't call it a "great" deal. I agree with the wife.
