Smile Michelin Super Sport vs Continental ContiSportContact 3

I've got a E90 since 1 year now.

I've changed my 4 original tyres (Continental ContiSportContact 3, 245/35/19, 265/35/19) for the new Michelin Super Sport.

Quick result: the ContiSportContact 3 gave me lots of satisfaction... But the Super Sport seem even better! Less noise on road, more grip on track!
To confirm in the length.

I switched from CS3 to PS2. I was also very happy with the CS3 but i feel that PS2 is a step better. smoother ride, less road noise, better traction.
my next tires will be super sports

I wouldn't say the CS3's are bad. I took them to the track recently and they handled surprisingly pretty well.

CS3's are good, but a bit twitchy in the wet. Can't wait to wear these down and try the super sports.

I have a set of the ContiSportContact 3 on my OE wheels, and I recently put a set of PSS on 18X10 Apex wheels, using 275/35-18 on all corners. I think the PSS is a much better all around tire. I will grant the CS3 has a stiffer sidewall that yields a bit sharper turn in and general steering response. But the PSS is quieter, better ride, and at least equal grip.

Gents When changing from the Conti's to the PS2's, did anyone notice the need to make a significant change to tire pressures? I have been running 36F/38R (basically the book recommended pressures for the 'vert), and have been very happy. Although I finally settled up here on pressures, it was some playing around with options before I was really happy.

I'd hate to have to go through all of that again just by switching tire brands, and was curious what others thought. Thanks

I'll find out soon, I'm getting PSS's put on today. I've been riding on the
Conti3's and have been happy with them, a little noisey but no complaints on feel/grip.
