Driving on the ring is expensive already today.

Your statement sounds elitist. There are private track day events if you don't want to drive during touristenfahrten. The 'Ring is a magical place for car fans of all income and skill levels. After spending 2 seasons here the ONLY thing I would change is to have separate times for motorcycles and automobiles, for the safety of the riders.

Right now it's still up in the air since they have not completed the necessary repairs to the track because of the harsh winter.

They need to hurry 'cause VLN races start on the 23rd of this month.

I wonder if it would be in the best interest of car makers (BMW, Porsche, Audi, Mercedes, etc.) who use the Ring to put in a combined offer...seeing how much history and testing they do there. Obviously that contract agreement would have to be ironclad.
