Best M3 garage around Long Beach?

Hey all,

I just bought a 2008 E92 M3 and I'd like to know who everyone uses for general work like oil changes, shocks, struts, brakes, etc.

I'd love to work on it myself, but I don't live in a place that allows work so I need to take my car in for maintenance.

Thanks for the recommendations!

I like Southbay Autohaus off the 405&Rosecrans , Qais is super nice, knowledgeable, and not pushy.

I've read good things about Autotalent in Carson, if that's closer to you.

Thanks. Have you used Southbay Autohaus personally? What about Autotalent?

Both are relatively close, I just want to take my new car to someone I trust as I don't plan to get rid if it for quite some time.

Appreciate the help

You can always bring it to the dealer?

I use Southbay Autohaus exclusively; Qais is the only guy I trust my M cars with.

I've never used Autotalent yet, but yes I've used Southbay Autohaus personally for some minor services several times:
  • Oil Change
  • Battery change
  • Brake pads
  • Spark plugs
  • Fuel Tank breather valve

On the fuel tank breather valves, Qais actually read this forum with me and we went through some of the possible "fixes", threw out some he didn't believe would fix the issue, before agreeing that the fuel tank breather was a plausible root cause due to his experience with Cayenne's having somewhat similar symptoms.

I've recommended them to a number of coworkers, who took her E90 M3 there and Qais correctly diagnosed her throttle actuator fault an fixed it much cheaper than the dealer. Another took their E93 335, and had the water pump replaced, etc. Both are very happy with Qais and do not go anywhere else
