Very subjective. Take feedback for the opinion that it is.

I ride on 20s in the summer and love them. A bit harsher, but it doesn't bother me.

It all depend on style of wheel, flush faced wheel no bigger than 19's, if you want to go 20's must be with a lip/step lip and MUST be lowered! Looks awesome on the M's.

No one can say this this m3 on 20's looks bad???

Can someone who has 20's quantify how much stiffer/harsher the ride is over 19's or 18's? 10%, 20%?

For no track use, just autobahn + bit of street, for me 20" looks perfect whit stock suspension

IF u wanna buy soft wheels(street use) the rule its:

20" -> black wheels
19" -> chrome wheels
I also think 20's are too big for this car. but yours look great. your car is at stock height? it looks lowered to me. or does your wheel/tire combo somehow make the wheel well gap disappear? looks very nice.
