I say BBK as well, but the Panerai watches look absolutely amazing... I say keep it up with the car, you'll eventually hit the wall of things you could really do to the car shortly, might as well live it up

some of the comments people post on here are appallingly crass. makes me wonder if the consensus opinion about luxury/german car owners is true. but anyway...

i'd do bbk if the m3 was the highest level of car you wanted (meaning you don't have aspirations of owning an exotic). i've never been one to buy a car then spend up to 50% of its value in upgrades. on the other hand, i think the 292 is a little too similar to your current collection--just dressed differently, maybe save up towards a PP or something else? i'm in a similar predicament: i want to change up my s5 a lot, i'm on the list for a panerai 335, or should i skip both and wait a little while so i can buy something i will like a lot more in couple years? either way, i envy your situation

i know, all i am saying is that they became much more mainstream with the big watch fad.
love how everybody is pushing the iwc big pilots...loved it, until i tried it on, still a masterpiece but i have a huge wrist and still didnt love it on...

Of course I already have the Panerai you are showing, and I get compliments all the time ..... but not as often as I do from this:

Bell and Ross Phantom

Get the watch.. BBK come and go, timepieces last a lifetime.
Sorry picture isn't showing up, let me try this one...

This watch turns heads.

I was high on the IWC BP a year ago, and am now looking back at that instead of the 292

Get a watch movement installed in the center of a 15" brake rotor and wear it on your wrist. That's only slightly smaller in diameter than a typical Panerai.

What is with you guys and your watches. I just got my Brembos and never thought about buying jewelry instead. Just got back from M school too and while the stock brakes seem fine really want those Brembos on the track.

Wow, the 1950 is a sick watch! One of my "to buy" list watches.

Watch without question unless you track hardcore or you REALLY care about those yellow calipers.

If you do track kind of often, invest in track pads as the stock ones SUCK ASS and will make your car feel like the rotors are warped. (New Century denied coverage because of my Advan RS wheels LOL ****).

I'd pick panerai, you can't bring the BBK along with you, it's stuck to your car.

Having a good watch on your wrist shows character and class. There's a local dealership where 80% of the salesman wore panerai.

Good to see there are many watch collectors in this forum and the balance some of you have between watches and mods. I think we can all agree they are both expensive hobbies. I've had the same debate the last 3 weeks, upgrading to a PAM 335 or get RACs.

Been collecting Panerais for few years now. Good time to buy a 292, I've seen prices for 292 non-PIG dropp from 9k to 7k. Only thing about 292 is you're paying premium for the ceramic case, just can't stand the Unitas movement, especially having to wind it almost everyday.

I'm looking for a Pan myself as i've always loved the look of it! Want to try out the leather straped look as opposed to my rolex's all the time.
