They'll only get my RAC's out of my cold dead hands. I do a look back everytime I get out of my car now. Just can't help it.

shep, how about an 18" track wheel with a similar design, maybe with a small lip because I think you said it would be lighter and cost less to produce?

By the way...these lightweight forged wheels will be made by the BBS Motorsport race wheel division in Germany, and not the forged street wheel division in Japan.

I think our cars are too chunky looking for this minimal style of wheel, meaning few, thin spokes with no center. Great looking wheel on a more visually lightweight, leaner looking car, like a 458, Exige, McLaren MC12.

Thanks, got it confused with this horse-cart, Maserti MC12. I will say McLaren blew it with the name, an anonymous mouthful. Now back to wheel fetishes.

LMB hasn't been on the boards since 3/10.

It looks like there were two sets at Bimmerfest. One on the IND blue car and another set on a Space Gray car. They definitely look better in black.
Any other colors from BBS?

The Space Gray car is mine. The guys over at Challenge jumped through some major hoops with BBS to get them for the show. BBS USA also bent over backwards to get the wheels expedited for the show.

I love the gloss black over the polished finish. These 19's also look like 20's...

Here are a couple of pics, compliments of EAS.

While the pictures I've seen so far of the wheel by itself look great, the pictures on a car don't grab me. I'll need to see good pictures of silver/brushed finish wheels on a car or see them in person to really make the call. Doesn't matter much though as they are out of my price range.

What do the people that have seen them on a car think?

Obviously I am biased, but the pictures do not do them justice!

They attracted a ton of POSITIVE feedback from people at the show...
