Im about to jump ship now if BMW keeps adding to the line. Part of the reason BMW ownership was great, was that it was exclusive, which it just isn't anymore.

And Audi's TDI cars are ballin.
And I really wouldnt mind a AMG in my life either

I'm not on a 'ship'

I buy the cars I like, regardless of brand/company/country

as for the other German companies, I like lots of MB's old product, but none of Audis.

I think you might want it less as you age

Audi, sure. . . . . I want one now

Mercedes, no. . . . . but who knows what cars will be like in another 20 years when I'm 40 and barely starting to get "old"

Have a 335i Coupe now and will move on to Sedans in the future. I'm loving the MB CLS. Definitely see myself in a MB or Audi later on.

How do you guys think Audi's interiors are nicer? Personally I think BMW's have a more appealing interior.

It's pretty much universally accepted that Audi interiors are the best. If not the best than at least better than BMW. I didn't buy my bimmer to admire the interior. I bought it to drive. As long as the interiors are competitive that all I need.

TTT, I'll reiterate that despite the excellent interior (and exterior) of the S5, I was wholly underwhelmed by the driving experience on the track. I doubt I will jump ship to Audi in the future.

the c class is like meh but I never crashed one. Don't even want to think about how many accidents i got in BMWs. Porsches are nice but expensive to maintain. most people get them when they are older and married lol...

(if i am driving) new porsches, porsche 993s, any masserati, the r8 is pretty sweet, ferrari 355s and testarossas (if i am being driven) jaguar xj's, old rolls royces, mb s-class, and maybe even a town car or a cadillac dts

if i could pick, i would take all of them but i will never get rid of my 335i no matter how much money i make. sentimental value

I've already picked the car I'll get when I'm older. I used to own it, and always thought this would be cool to tool when I'm older: I present the 1966 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow.

There might come a time when I won't want to clamber in and out of my M Coupe all the time. People claim the Silver Shadow is high maintenance, but given the choice between tuning SU carbs or working on a current 7-series or S-class. The old RR has all the luxury and elegance you could want, without the complexity, and they're actually not that expensive. In fact, my chief worry is their rising prices - people always sort of looked down on the Shadow, but in the last few years it looks like people are catching on to how good the pre-74 cars are. I bought SRX1327 for $6700 in 2000, and it's current asking price is $20k. I really wish the guy I'd sold it to had called before he sold it - he sold it for $14k, the next guy sold it for $18k at auction to the dealer asking $20k now.

My favorite RR. Byrd Limo is owned by my aunt. I believe it's a '67?

When I get pissed off by the service (or lack thereof) at my local BMW dealers...and I get too sore with the damn sport suspension..and I get too lazy to shift manually...I will likely get a Lexus.
