Turbo Tuner Malfunction

So i installed my SSTT and right when i start up the car i get an 'engine malfunction' code so i disconnected the battery (or atleast i thought i did) then start it up about a half hour later only to find that as well as the engine malfunction code there was also a 'service engine soon' code.... What the hell went wrong? I thought this is a plug and play upgrade. I am certain i installed it correctly and yes it is in the TMAP sensor...im clueless...PLEASE everyone who has a turbo tuner please help! Oh yea btw when i test drove the car after installation the car felt MUCH slower than before... im thinking i didnt properly disconnect the battery although i DID lock the doors and wait 30+ mins...

It sounds like you didn't install it correctly. Too many people have had no problem plugging it in with great success. I recommend uninstalling it, driving the car, and reinstalling it, disconnecting the battery while you do the work. Honestly I suspect you somehow didn't push the connectors all the way together or you put the connectors together backwards. I just uninstalled mine today pending a JB3 and its a cinch, even on a 1er where you have to take off the airbox.
