Deployment

I'm prepping for another deployment, and this will be my first with my e92. Not really sure what to do to prep for it. My wife doesn't want to drive the things because theres too many mods. Any suggestions of what I should do besides swap my wheels back to the OEM. BMW told me to just put a trickle charge on it. I will only be gone for 7 months. BTW. The car will be sitting in my garage.

Add Stabil to the gas tank and drive the car to distribute all the way to the injectors then top off tank. Thats all you really need to do. Thank you for your service.

I'm wondering this too, except mine isnt until early next year. Good luck on your deployment, stay safe.

Stabil, drive it, then trickle charger. Add a few extra PSI to the tires. Cover it if you have one.

Don't worry about thr trickle charger unless you already have one. Just disconnect the negative battery cable. Your tires probably will have minimal flat spots but should come out after driving for a few miles. Since it will be in your garage, you could take the wheels off and put it on stands to avoid any problems with the tires. Rodents are also a real issue. You should look into maybe setting some traps and have your wife periodically check on them. +1 to the fuel stabilizer.

When I used to travel to Europe for work on stretches of 1-3 months, I used to have one of my friends or brothers take my car out once a week to keep it fresh. BTW, thank you for your service and the sacrifices that you've made.
