Beware of Socalbreez3 (Eric Hsiao) if he poses as a buyer

I had a set of black Volk G2 for sale in the wheel section here in June 2014. Socalbreez3 (Eric Hsiao) contacted me and we agreed to sale of $1200.00. I tried to set up a meet for the sale. He said he was busy several times and offered a deposit. He deposited $200.00 July 16th. From there I texted and waited, texted and waited, got I'm busy, In Vegas, busy at work responses. We once did agree to a meet but he bailed on that. Fast forward to Sept 2014. He attempted to dispute the deposit with PayPal but they deferred because it was over 45 days. Fast forward to Oct and PayPal withdrew the $200 plus a $27 chargeback fee because he borrowed the money on his credit card and disputed it through them. I can't read minds. He wanted the wheels, left a deposit and then never contacted me to set up a meet OR request a REFUND. All he had to do was ask for a refund. Instead he used PayPal and his credit card company to get back his $200.00. I'm out time, wasted sale opportunities and $27. I've bought and sold items on here without any issues until Eric Hsiao. Beware.

i personally had a bad experience with him as well. he promised to buy my exhaust but it never happened. he said he left his friend a deposit and was suppose to meet with me. i went out of my way to meet up with him at his shop and the guy never even heard of him wanting to buy the exhaust or leaving him a deposit. ended up being a complete waste of time (3 weeks). i wouldn't bother selling anything to him even if he offered 2x as much, because he will probably never pick it up, and talk is cheap. i learned my lesson, money talks, BS walks, first come first serve unless u have experience with the buyer.

So Eric Hsiao (Aka Eric Shiao) socalbreez3@yahoo.com also has issues on Watchuseek forums as a seller. Don't want bore you with the details but he defends himself by saying the buyer should have called him to rectify the misunderstanding. What a hypocrite. I'm still waiting for his call. Google socalbreez3 and the top 3 hits are his BS.

Wow! Interesting to see this. I purchased his 5 qts of unopened 10w60 and paid him right away and he said it would go out ASAP the next day. A few days went by and I thought nothing of it, and finally contacted him w/ no response for two days. He responded the next 2 days telling me the tracking # was left in his office. I advised I was going away and didn't want to leave a package in front of my house and the next day I received a partial refund from paypal with a message stating he only had 2 unopened quarts and one 1/2 quart. I messaged him stating I expected what was advertised and furthermore the fact that this was now almost 10 days later and he was advising he didn't even have what was advertised led me to believe it was never sent out as he said it would be.

I advised I wanted a full refund as the items were not as described and I did get my money back but one shouldn't have to go through these issues. I also just received the oil as well so that's cool but not worth the headache IMO.

Also a quick search of his past post history in the for sale section reveals similar issues. I would stay far away...

But you do admit that you commerce practices suck? I for one am glad the OP was willing to warn the community. The fact that you don't refute what people are saying tells me all I need to know.

It's the principle. You advertised stuff you never had and then shipped it a week or more later. It's still wrong. As someone else stated your business practices suck. There's a reason this thread was made. Your post history is similar. Sorry but you reap what you sow

Just passing by...but it seems to me that S85e90 ought to paypal Socalbreeze something for the oil he received for nothing and Socalbreeze ought to paypal SDPRT the $27 that he is out of pocket.
Then everyone is even.
