But yea when I see ppl around my car (bmw or my beater) i do get the feeling like dont do anything dumb around it, door ding or w/e. But all in all im a easy going guy and wont flip on anyone for lil things like a coffee cup/mug. Its just a car!

I've been in this situation before (needing to put a cup down in a parking garage). It always always goes on the ground, never on someone's car. It never even enters my mind that it is an option to do something like that. Another similar situation is coming out to find someone leaning against your car talking on the phone, etc. (which I have had happen to me).

i had a situation like that yesterday. i come out the px (thats like a military walmart) and find this dude leaning on my car talkin to his friends. so i just watch and wait to see if he is gonna move. so im like dude what are you doing? do you know whos car this? he's liike who cares dude ill move before he comes out. i was like dude get off my car before i destroy you and your friends. oh and it wasnt the bmw either. it was the stang. but regardless its still my shit and people need to repect it.

2 things I could have done in that situation.

1) Started my car and floored it if I could have gone forward.
2) Started my car and floored it in neutral if I couldn't have gone anywhere.

Hopefully, the revving of the engine would have been enough to scare her off.

It reminds me of when my idiot friends put their case of paintballs and their paintball guns on my god damn trunk. I still have the scratches from them dragging the case of paintballs on my trunk. You have no idea how pissed off I was. I yelled like there was no tomorrow when I saw them do that and they didn't even know why I was going crazy. Then again, they don't give a shit about their cars at all. It's no wonder they look like crap even though they could look like semi-respectable cars.

And no, I didn't bring my car anywhere near the paintball field. I was just dropping them off there as a favor. Last time I'll ever do that for them.

I believe that your response was more than appropriate. In fact, I'll bet that many people (myself included) would have had an even stronger reaction. The issue for me is not weather or not there was potential for damage to my car. Rather, the issue is one of the arrogant attitude and complete lack of respect for someone else and their property; irrespective of the price tag. The woman in your situation didn't even bother to apologize. She was evidently more concerned about being caught and any reprisal she might endure. Unfortunately, this self-centered behavior that many people in our society exhibit today, especially young people (teens, etc), is out of control. On the other hand, if she was hot...
