Tire Choice vs Cost - 18" EC7

Bought some 18x10 EC7 on stock suspension and plan on run 275/35-18 on all 4 corners. The car is used for driving on the street on warm days and AutoX (10x) and Track (4x) a year (don't really drive in the rain). That being said, I know I have some options and these prices are based on Tire Rack for 4 tires:

Bridgestone RE-11 @ $904
Dunlop Direzza ZII @ $1080
Hankook R-S3 @ $820
AD08r is not offerred in this size.

- I have have Star Specs (z1) and the RE-11s in the past and liked them both.
- I have raced the ZII on a C63 at AutoX and driven around San Fran with them and liked them. Quite noisy though (not that I care that much).
- No experience with the R-S3 though have heard good and bad things.

I was thinking of giving the R-S3's a shot for the good price. My next choice would be the RE-11. Both of which have newer tire options available for more cost.

Any reason why I should get the more expensive versions or pick one tire over the other?

Ado8r is offered in 285/30-18. That size fits too.

I ended up with the RS-3s, bought and installed right at $900. Not to bad for 275 rubber all around. Thanks for the advice.

Great tire choice, one of our personal favorite tires to recommend for those looking for a track tire that is not ready for R-compounds yet.
