Well said.

It is definitely one of the best sounding exotic out right now, without a doubt.

It looks amazing from all angles except the front lights. It is far better looking than F458, 599 GTB, Zonda, California

The price might be questionable, but Lexus is certainly not desperate for sales since they are building only 500 of these and most of the allocations for the first year are already spoken for.

Its unofficial Nurburgring lap time is 7:24

I love the rear of the car, but I think the side and front need a little more aggressiveness.

another amazing thing is it still have the typical lexus soft ride compare to other supercar, but can still turn fast lap time. I remember reading this somewhere before.

It's amusing to hear the nay-sayers here talk down about the LF A...looks, performance or otherwise....lol.

Just curious what BMW has to offer that gets close to this.

Love the LFA. Overpriced yes but man does it stand out. Lexus reliability exotic looks and a exhaust note only an f1 car can match.

£300k for a Ferrari/Lamborghini or £300k for a Lexus.... The choice is yours!!
I know which option I would take!
Although I do like the Lexus.. just cant pay that price for it.

Maybe but the Carrera GT is much harder to drive than the LFA with that heavy clutch not to mention the LFA is more exclusive and probably more reliable being a Lexus and all. Can't say for maintenance though haha

What do you mean it wasn't going to be cheaper?

You know nothing of it, just like the rest of us. FYI, the NSX road car went into hibernation on the 3rd week of December 2008. They could easily put it on the market if they have a change of plans as it was production ready.

Just like LFA was production ready as early as 2003. Just because you have seen a test mule zipping on the roads (or Nurburgring) does not make it "production ready".

Funny how the Honda president Takanobu Ito now calls the Honda FCX Clarity "the sports car of the newage". LOL

Funny, you should have looked more into it before responding.

The HSV was only allowed to participate in the Super GT because Honda submitted it's plans to the Japanese Automobile Federation and was granted permission. The rules state that to compete in Super GT, the basic car must be production ready but does not necessarily have to be in production (same loophole Toyota used to run the Supra's for so long).

P.S: I don't know of Honda's new CEO calling the FCX a sporting car. Link?

lol coming from a guy who has owned 1 rotaries... youre crazy

but this thread is so funny. "if i had to choose between a 300k ferrari and a 300k lexus, or course i would choose the lexus"

do you guys really think a person who is being asked to buy a LF-A and can afford to do one really needs to think about prices and choices? "i can only have one of these so i better make a good choice"? anyone who can afford a 599GTB or a Carrera GT can afford and probably owns multiple cars. were talking millionaires that can buy whatever they want. if you have to ask how much you cant afford it.... lol

btw i remember when pagoni came out with the zonda, konisseigg came out, gumpert made the apollo, heck even the nsx... everyone said the same shit. "why would i buy that over a ferarri???"

NSX was cheaper than a 348 and outperformed it.

This costs significantly more than twice a 458 and i highly doubt it will be quicker looking at the specs.

Plus, the Honda had F1 pedigree (having powered back to back championship winners) and a touch of Ayrton. This was devised by a failed Motorsport department that couldn't win anything.

If you say exclusivity:

Do you know how many Zonda's they sold in 10 years? 115 units (nearly a 5th of this thing's run)

Koenigsegg's only made about 200 to date.

I like blue collar supercars but this thing is too ugly and too expensive.
