The M4 Lexus tested against, had no ceramic brakes, but had adaptive suspension. The M4 in the head-to-head that won by 3/10 sec. had standard suspension but had ceramic brakes.

It turns out, companies lie all the time in the hope of swaying public opinion. Truly great products speak for themselves. Apple doesn't need to argue with Microsoft because it's clear that their product is superior. Likewise, I wouldn't expect any rebuttals from BMW regarding the RC-F.
That is no only valid for Toyota/Lexus, and the companies you mentioned, by also Apple (Apple doesn't argue, their fans do) and all other companies, also German. Germany is just as corrupt if not more than any other corrupt country. Forgotten Siemens corruption scandal? Or the deals at VW/Porsche? Or yet recently ADAC?

A nice road car, that is about it. Done.

Maybe next gen will challenge the M3/M4. But for now BMW is still king in this segment.

Car and Driver just published the RF-C article. The performance specs we're within a few tenths better than the new Mustang GT they tested against the Camaro and Challenger. Mustang GT $46K. Lexus RF-C $76K

Looks and sounds good. Back to the value though... why pay this kind of $$$ when you can get a GT 350, Stingray or Z/28 and still have a wad of cash left to pay the track feed and tire/break expenses?

Also what's deal with all the manufacturers putting in their sports car a "Ecco" mode... geez that pisses me off... Just call it "Normal" or "City" mode... So you have "City", "Sport" or "Sport +" and "Track"... If I wanted a Ecco mode I would buy a regular car and not a sports car!
