Showroom Stock Racing in Canada in 1986
I was sent this today by the driver in this Video.Canada in the mid 80's had 3 very strong showroom stock series and this one used Camaro's & Firebird's and had grids as large as 60-70 cars which meant they had qualifying races and usually had a lot of carnage This video is quite entertaining because the cars had no brakes after a couple of laps & suffered from huge axle tramp with rear brakes only working.By the next race at the Toronto Indy the cars had Brembo's on them and brake issues were a thing of the past.Enjoy!

Thanks for sharing and bringing back good memories .
Those were times when supporting races at the Grand-Prix were actually entertaining . The start-finish line was right after the hairpin back then. |
