Sorry for the repost, I did a quick search in the M3 forum before posting, but did not think about the reg. forums.
I agree, not my style either, just thought there might be some people out there interested since the 8's under the seat are so limited. Thanks! |

Blocks access through the fold down rear seat
Also, they could have made it much cheaper but instead decided to put one of the most expensive subs they make in there. |

Yeah, I couldn't live without the fold down seats. A single sub on the right side above the battery would be fine.

If you do not have fold down seats and if you do not have a ski pass through, and if you have $1400 burning a hole in your pocket...
It's probably a good choice.

That is a lot of boot space and weight to give up in the pursuit of sound. Each to their own I suppose. Personally a single smaller sub at the battery position would be better.

Personally I think it would be best to get a good fitting box with just 1 12w7 in the trunk.
There is this guy that sells 350z enclosures that are by far the best enclosures I have ever seen and for a really good price. He started making them for e46 M3s, G35c's etc when his popularity started picking up. Would be a good idea to get a group buy going i suppose.

That's a pretty unusual design from the StealthBox series, and it's a bummer. The older incarnations for the 3-series were always two small separate boxes that mounted to the rear deck and were ... um ... stealth. Thanks for the post, though, because at least I know that I shouldn't be waiting around for the latest JL offering.

Its pretty ugly.. I'd sooner keep the pass through and add a bump to the trunk bottom. There's so much unused space there. Who's gonna need a tire inflator?
