Yesterday, the DaGolfpro and I drove up Palomeras to Livermore from Fremont. Then we hopped down onto Mines road to Junction. We were about to head out to 5 freeway but they shut it down because there was a double murder crime scene. So we then we drove south towards Mount Hamilton Observatory. Then we hooked up back up north onto 680 back to civilization. All in all, it was a solid 3 hour drive with 160 miles (half tank of gas) on our cars by day's end. Awesome drive. Very challenging especially near Mount Hamilton. Lots of hairpin and chicanes.

I believe we're gonna try and get together on 8/8 to drive up Palomeras for an evening run. We'll meet at Niles 7/11 at the intersection of 84 and Mission Blvd in Fremont at 5pm. 6pm. Departure.

M3 forum has a lot more going on in terms of meets/activities. You should join. My Z4 has kept up with the M3s...haha! and that's coming from someone that owns both.

I was going to keep the crime scene out. Didn't want to scare the crap out of people who might want to go in the future.

Best 1/2 tank of gas I've spent yet. It was a great drive. Nice to stretch the legs of the M3 for as much as we did. Can't wait to go back!!!

Meet at 5:00, leave for the drive @ 6:00. Before we drive off, we can decide on where to meet up. Either in Dublin or back in Fremont/Union City area if guys want to hang out afterwards...

Where are the cars and coffee events or thread? I tried doing a search but it seems like almost every city in the western hemisphere has one. Is it the one at Santana Row? I've tried to go out a few times but it's not always consistent.
