I am coming with a dirty car, as I was also golfing yesterday and busy watching the race this morning. Oh well, they are calling for rain again tonight and tomorrow.

I have the race taped on my PVR, but I do not know how to transfer it from my machine. It looks like there is a slot for a thumb drive, cannot figure out how to copy to it though.

I already erased it on the the PVR as I need the room for the ALMS from Long Beach on ABC this aft.You missed a very interesting race!

Well, my wife sent me to get some groceries at the neigbourhood Metro, and what do I see when I look out of the window while checking out my food? 3 M3s parked on the other side of the lot! I had no idea you guys had decided to resurect the meet today.

I just had to drive by, put on the four ways and stare for a few minutes, (I was the guy in the Jetta if anyone was looking out the Starbucks at the time.)

The cars that were there at the time were an SG E90, a SSII e93 and I think a JzB E92. The SG E90 has made me reconsider IB if/when I order an E90 in the next few months. SSII is a colour I've seen often on an E92 parked in the parking garage at work and I've thought it lookd weak, too baby blue, well I was wrong, it looks MINT in the sunshine! The E92 colour was wicked! When my polarized shades were on it looked deep/dark purple without them on it looked black, Awesome. Is that Jerez Black or is it the Individual Black colour someone was talking about a few months ago with a touch of purple in it?

Awesome surprise! Your cars looked stunning all parked together! I wish I could'a stopped by to meet you and have a latte, but my pregnant wife was freaking out for a proscutto and chorizo sandwich and I had to get home to feed her. Or else-->

Too bad you missed us. The E92 was a Jerez Black (Gearhead999s) and I guess you hit the window when Darklord left and before Alistair83 showed up in the AW E92.

Looking forward to May 9th at Cayuga guys! We will pick a meeting spot on the west end of the city so that we can tour out to the sticks together for those that are interested.

Now I remember the Jetta...we were actually standing in the parking lot at the time chatting, waiting for the AL in his FR E92 and Darklord in his SSII E90. You definitely should have got out for a chat. You will have to let us know what M3 you ultimately end up with.

AL - I am going to try and figure out how to download the video of your exhaust so that you can hear it while it is driving by.

We are planning to meet on May 9th on the west end, and then drive out to Cayuga to watch Gearhead drag the Toyota.

Once we know times and locations I will post an update.

As soon as we have some more information on times, etc. we will pick a meeting spot on the west end (Oakville or Burlington) and then drive over to Cayuga.

Here is a link to the Cayuga racetrack and some information on the drag strip. I originally googled Cayuga motor speedway and came up with a pretty old site,

The big thing about going on a Saturday is that the track will be prepped for the real drag cars that will be there.
