Good thing the E92 M3 has a low offset, so they won't be machining much off of the wheels.

I might run 285s in the rear to give it more sidewall, was running a little stretched.. but the thing is it wasnt my rear wheel that was bent, but rather my front.

So what offsets would you guys use for a square track set-up? and what size spacers?

Front w/ 5mm Spacer or None Rear w/ 10mm Spacer of 15mm Spacer This way you have all the same tires, and can rotate when needed. I would run a 275/35/18 all the way around probably, maybe a 40 series tire. -Andy

Anyone has any idea how these ForgeStar wheels compare to the Advan RS? I currently use the TRMotorsport 18's for track, but they are weak, easy to bend etc. I had a flat spot on my front wheel with only minimal injury.(I spinned on the track but never left the tarmack??!!) So I am looking for something stronger but reasonably priced.

I believe the Forgestar and Yokohama wheels are made the same way, so they would be about the same strength.

Just on ForgeStar's side, their wheels are rated at 1500 LBS / corner. Strength wise, ForgeStar is among the same quality as the other big players in the industry. |

You only need the spacers if you want to run a square set-up, say for track usage.

So it's pretty clear that Advan's CAST wheels are very well made products. Advan's FORGED wheels are manufactured by RAYS, so Yokohama has some excellent taste when it comes to choosing a third-party to build their wheel products. Very smart moves in both cases.

Might want a bigger spacer in the rear. I just put on TE37s 18x9.5 with 12mm spacer and would like it out a little more.
