BYE BYE M3

Traded in M3 Yesterday.

Loved the 15 months and 16k miles I did in it, great car possible greatest with that engine!

Loved

The noise,the looks,the speed!

Not so keen

The low speed smoothness of DCT when parking and below 30 mph.

Lack of torque can catch you out

Almost 2 daily visits to petrol station.

Watching my 7 year old cry his eyes out when I TOLD him it was gone.

Getting 640d GC MSport. Four doors needed for growing family

hope it works out.

Enjoy those cars

Be safe!

Sorry to see it go, enjoy the 640d GC. Beautiful car... Your son also has a good eye for cars!

2 visits per day? You must drive it like you stole it or you have a horrendous commute

Sorry to see you give it up.

Not exactly sure what you mean by "can catch you out" ? High and dry?

Hope I never have to have that talk...

Enjoy that torque monster.

I meant your driving home with other things on your mind, then suddenly you have to react to a situation, without paddle usage!

Its just slow to figure out which gear it should choose and often tries and fails to react quickly. The lack of torque in that gear at that time slows down the whole thing. I know its not that type of engine! But its still a pain!

Great when you use the paddles or in M mode, but being half asleep myself prob does nt help
