Liteblox LB19XX lithium LiFePO4 battery. Super-lightweight. Carbon base/casing.
I'm welcoming a new F80 ZCP into the garage, and hopefully a GTS next month I'm going to start parting out some of the nicer parts on my E90. I just bought this LiteBlox LiFePO4 battery late last year. It's amazingly lightweight and feature packed. I've never had the battery 'die' on me because the intelligent battery cuts itself off if it reaches a certain low-voltage..it always saves enough power to start the car. I've let the car sit almost two-weeks without a tender, and no problems. NFC-communication with you smartphone, and audible status indicators. Full-carbon base and enclosure. Easy to install, includes original box, paperwork, and extra terminal covers. $860 shipped. Let me know if you have any questions. I put my lithium battery charger on it, but it already had full-charge. https://en.liteblox.de/shop/liteblox...nd-motorsport/ Last edited by shrimp_chips; 06-21-2018 at 12:58 AM.. |

Price negotiable?
Is price negotiable? I need a new battery now, but personally I'm willing to let Li-ion battery prices continue plunging for the time being before shelling out, so not really considering Li-ion myself this time around unless price is right...
Are you able to PM me?

It's going to be a long minute before a battery like this "plunges" to anywhere near the cost of an AGM battery... This is a good price for those with the means.

Not saying its not a good price for now. Just for my calculus, by time my next AGM battery runs down in a few years, the equivalent of this Litebox will be down to $300-600 new, and I'll pick one up at that time. https://data.bloomberglp.com/bnef/si...and-market.pdf (page 2 graph).
So the extra battery life doesn't matter to me in light of this. I totally understand if OP doesnt want to drop price. But if price is flexible, I'll consider it now.

I have a few questions on the battery:
How much does the whole setup weigh? How was the install? How did you register the battery to the car? Do you have any pictures of it installed on your car? Thanks in advance! |
