Good, reasonable insurance company

Which company do you guys use? I just found out my rate will go up to $2700 over the next 6 months instead of $2k with Farmers. 2 points in the past 2 years and 1 not my fault accident (11/06) is really killing me. Called All State and AAA, and they all want about the same.. wtf!

My friend has them, sounded like some good rates at the time.

I have State Farm, full coverage with one point on my license, about 1080 every 6 months but I have been with them for close to 9 years

At the time? Did they jack up their rates?

need you to elaborate on the question but if I think understand the question I just sat with my agent and went over things however I did add renters insurance to the policy, which brought the cost down and I have a 1k deductible for comprehensive.

Well you said they had good rates at the time. So I am assuming since you did not choose them, then their rate must currently be higher than before? Thus your choice of State Farm?

I've been with Farmers for 13 years.. and they still raised my rates. My agent saved me $400, but it's still too expensive for me. I'm calling Progressive and Geico today.

AAA gave me the same rate as my old Farmer's rate. So far so good with them! Waiting for someone from Progressive to call me back.

I don't know about Wawanesa, my friend had it and he had an E46 M3. I think his rate was around 120 a month or less because he had a muti line discount.

I've been state farm since day one and I've been paying about $180 a month.

Do they really? I have had AAA for years.. but never use them because of BMW Assist or Mercedes SOS. Maybe they have a false sense of security with me.

Not the AT&T rep I was talking to. Verizon phones suck, but their reception is very good. Sucks you can't just switch SIM cards and switch phones.
