are there any meet ups in the Bay Area for M3's? I would love to see some and get some ideas as my E93 is scheduled to be in port the last week of Oct so I am hoping to take delivery the following week or so.

The Milpiitas one on odd Fridays is pretty good. Its a general BMW meet, though.
I see more M3s at the Tanforan meet in San Bruno on 2nd and 4th Fridays.

Not sure if it's going on but once in a while the M3 guys have a tap x meet that's posted on here but haven't seen it in a couple of weeks.

How many attendees?
thats cool about the San Bruno meet, how many people (cars) tend to show up? Also, what time does this thing start?

Turnouts are usually pretty good. I don't keep track of headcount, but when you lose all track of time chatting with fellow BMW owners until 2:30am or so, I'd say it's a worthwhile meet.

Stock motor is on its way out of the sedan and I've got the S54 on the stand at the moment for prep work. There's little space in this garage with all the parts that came off the sedan all sitting around, too. I'm thinking you can probably drop that block off once the S54 is in the car. Maybe 2 weeks or so if I'm not traveling? lol >___<

Damn, that's going to be a tight schedule. We would need to start the motor build now to make it by the 25th.
