I have an LCI (2011) - would this trunk work for me? I'd like to have a spare trunk to mount my wing on it.

Hmm I see. Well the trunk is off a 2008 so that is pre-LCI. I know the trunk will fit, and since I have the entire tail-light assembly (both units on each side) you could make it work. You would be essentially going from your LCI to a pre-LCI each time you mount the trunk with your wing on it.

The only foreseeable issue would be whether or not the pre-LCI taillights may trip a code...harmless but nevertheless could be present.

Bottom line: Since lots of pre-LCI folks go with LCI taillights, the reverse should functionally work. Maybe someone else on here could chime in as well?

Re

I'm interested in the lip spoiler from this trunk if it is original BMW part. Would you part it separately and how much?

Thanks

I'll need to do some research to see if it'll work.

If I get it I don't need the spoiler

I would ideally like to sell them together, but it looks like if 4sevens decides to take the trunk, then I can take the spoiler off and sell it to you separately...win on all sides?

The spoiler from the trunk is original factory part. Its the spoiler that came with the 2008 M3. We can PM pricing if things work out?
