Sedan. I personally think it looks better. It's not some kid's toy or wannabe sports car. It looks like it means business.
If you don't buy that argument, it's cheaper and more practical. It sacrifices nothing to the coupe. |

my last sports car was a sedan so im trying coupe next
but at 18 its hard, 1. i went clubbing 3 times a week with friends, so a sporty sedan was much better, crawling in and out of a coupe can damage the interrior easily, in theory it shouldnt happen as i would be extra careful in somone elses car, but not everyone is that thoughtful 2. ur 18, a coupe is cooler in theory then also! Sedan is 5 seats if im correct coupe is 4. getting a ticket for more people then ur car can hold is a serious offence and is considered VERY DANGEROUS! in a acident especialy so you need to weigh up pros and cons and trust your passion Cause thats what a good sport car is about PASSION |

well, you want my honest opinion.. get an e46 M3. drive that, mod that.. get used to driving an M car(assuming you havent owned one yet?).. it is a lot of car.. a lot of power, and 18 w that kind of power can be costly and dangerous.. you mature a lot in your first 10 years of driving.

Truly a personal preference. I liked the Sedan more. They both drive pretty much the same.

Sedan is rare, whole bunch of coupes around. I'm trading my 335 coupe for 2010 M3 sedan, I have a family though.

Since you are 18yrs old here is my recommendation:
Coupe: If you want to go for that "I'm a spoil brat" look. My parents bought my car and "I am cooler than you." Sedan: Although I am young and full of energy, I am still sophisticated and classy. |

If i was still in high school, I would get the coupe. But I need the 4 doors, it makes things a lot more convenient. If you leave the car stock the sedan looks better. I think the coupe needs a couple of mods :]

Had I known that my family would grow next year, then I would probably have gotten the Sedan... but at the same time, I am not sure if I would have liked to use it as a DD (snow, etc...)... So I am still happy with the Coupe!!
